A three step guide for owner and finder
HOW DOES IT WORK FOR THE FINDER?
You have found something. What now?
1. Scan the QRing QR-code
Scan the QR code with the camera of your phone, or scan the NFC tag by holding your phone close to the tag.
2. Contact the owner
Simply contact the owner by calling or sending a message (text/email). Pretty easy right?
3. Direct contact with the owner
Agree with the owner how the item will be returned.
Super! Thanks to your effort, the lost item is returned to its owner.
HOW DOES IT WORK FOR THE OWNER?
Have you lost something? Don’t panic. We got you!
1. Notification when item is found
As soon as someone scans the QR code of your QRing tag, you will receive a notification with location estimate in the QRing app.
2. Contact the finder
The finder will contact you by calling or sending a message. Completely anonymous. You are called by your lost item, for example ‘suitcase’. So you know right away that you need to pick up your phone!
3. You have your lost item back!
Together with the honest finder you agree on how the lost item will be returned. Everything remains anonymous.
